The masterpiece begins with the pencil sketch, the novel with the messy first draft, the symphony with a simple hum over a morning coffee. Every great thing that was ever created started with someone stumbling into the dark with nothing but a vague idea. They found a thread of truth and wove a tapestry with it. They didn’t know how it would turn out, but they stuck with it, trusted themselves, put the time and work in, and took it to places they could never have imagined at the beginning. And this is the mentality I really need to master, it needs to become part of my being. I need to understand it on a spiritual level because I want to do great things too.
Natalie Portman
This woman skipped a Star Wars premiere so she could stay home and study for her finals.
How many of you guys knew that she went to Harvard and took a degree without taking a break from working as the amazing actress she is?
She also stated that she didn’t care about the time college would take from her career and that she’d rather be educated than famous.
